I have been using the PocketShave Pro for several years. I have had 2, and usually they just quit working. For the price, and the shave, it is worth it to buy one every couple years or so. They use regular AAA batteries. They last about a month for me, but I have a very tough beard. Overall, for a non-irritating smooth shave, this is the most incredible little shaver.
