I purchased this for my snow shovel but never put it on. I was looking for a solution when using my string trimmer up side down to edge my sidewalks (90%) of it's use. I attached this handy handle to the bottom side of the shaft. Works awesome, don't know why the trimmer does not come with one. My lower back pain is a thing of the past. Now need one for the snow shovel...

This really helps save my back. My wife was skeptical but was amazed at the improvement when using handle attachment on a snow shovel. I bought 3 for other shovels.

Perfect for those of us who metal detect on the beach and want to keep the detector clean. it also is great for the sand scoop. makes carrying scoop and/or detector easy. also great for saving your joints. i've told all my detectorist friends about these and they like the idea.

What's to be said - I'm using it on a snow shovel and it works great. I really didn't expect it to make as much difference as it does - that extra few inches is a great back-saver. Highly recommended.

We just had a snow storm that dropped eight inches of wet, heavy snow. I got my trusty aluminum Tru-Temper snow shovel and quickly attached this yellow plastic D-shaped device to the handle. After shoveling a few times I adjusted the handle attachment and tightened it down with the Allen wrench that’s included. All I can say is what a difference! It takes nearly two hours to clear my driveway and when I’m done I’m usually in pain and my back is stiff and sore. This handle let’s you use your arms to lift the snow shovel without bending over and pulling upwards with your back. I wish I heard about this 20 years ago. A “must have” for anyone that has to shovel snow.

This handle makes so much sense. It's easy to install and move to other tools and it gives me leverage while standing instead of stooping.

This is such a good idea. I now own two of them on two different style snow shovels, though I occasionally move one of them to a large push broom. It is a great design; it is a great improvement to any tool that otherwise puts too much pressure on your back; and the best part of the design is that the Allen wrench that installs and removes it is attached to the handle itself. I applaud the designer and very much appreciate the design. It is sturdy, yet lightweight. You don’t have to be old to appreciate it. You just need to recognize your back will love you for delaying its destruction.

We moved and had to replace the snow shovel we left behind. I saw this as an add-on for the shovel we bought and it is SO much easier to lift the shovel with snow on it. It spread out the weight so your back is no longer bearing the brunt of lifting snow to move it off a sidewalk or driveway. I was impressed with how comfortable it felt to shovel and I was less tired using this extra handle as well. Save your back. Order this for your shovel so you have it for next winter!

Easy to install and use. Makes an unpleasant chore a breeze (especially on the back).

Have several of them. Husband thinks they are great.

I broke off the original handle on my electric snowblower. The replacement one was very expensive & back ordered. We were having constant snowstorms this winter so I needed to get a handle ASAP. I am glad I found this handle as it is much more sturdy than the original snowblower's handle. It is also more comfortable to hold onto.

I've never been able to use a long handled hoe before. With this handle, there is still some back strain, but IDK, 75% less? 90% less? It's a TREMENDOUS help to me. I can't wait to try it out on the snow shovel.
